All my students exhibit some sort of behavior and require different coping techniques to help self-regulate. With that being said, Social Emotional Learning is going to be implemented into my classroom and I feel like creating a break area will benefit them. Being a new teacher, I came into my classroom with very little furniture to create an area that encourages SEL. My project is to create a break area in my room with these room dividers. I will have visuals, fidgets, books, and more to help aid my students during those times when they are feeling overwhelmed or anxious.
