At the current moment, my classroom has no chapter books. As I find old library shelves and repaint them, I have no books in which to fill this classroom library. I want each of my students to have access to a variety of quality grade level books that spark and maintain their innate love for exploration for reading. They deserve the opportunity to peruse, select, read and discuss the wonderment of the books they select. They deserve this opportunity everyday that they come to school. The benefits of reading daily are endless and they are in a critical age of development in which a strong love for reading must be founded.

About my class
