During our life science unit students are asked to observe microscope slides. Without working microscope’s this section can not properly be taught and students will miss this component. Being able to view and discuss the slides will make such a difference when looking at claim, evidence, reasoning and observation skills. These skills will also be needed in high school. Being introduced to microscopic organisms hands-on, not just in pictures, will have a greater impact on their learning. My hope is their curiosity will be peaked and their interest level heightened. Please help me obtain this needed equipment for my classroom
