I have 19 students in my classroom, in a rural school with a 75% free and reduced lunch rate. The students love to work on activities in small groups and with objects that they can manipulate. This group of students is very active and they love listening to stories. For many of the students school is not only a place to learn but also a place to get attention that they may not get at home. This grant can show the students that people really care about them and their future.
