We are a high school with a creative and performing arts program. Many of our students come from poverty, and in many cases the poverty is generational. We are seeking to develop a tolerant space that embraces the diversity in our community and the world and a creativity zone and makerspace where students will have the chance to get hands-on in the library to improve their collaborative teamwork, problem-solving, critical thinking and of course reading both critically and for pleasure. Our library media center is a consistently shifting place adapting to the needs of our students. We are ready to expand and provide ownership of learning to our students!

About my class
