This equipment will help our girls to become better players. It will also build their self-esteem as they learn how to play. Their hard work on the field transfers to the classroom because they learn how to work hard. Plus they have to keep up their grades to be able to play. These girls have no equipment right now to be able to practice. This equipment will be used for many years as we build up the softball program. Many of the girls that try out, have never seen a ball pitched to them. The pitching machine will help us to teach them what a pitched ball looks like.
