Our curriculum circulates around independence and supporting ourselves. We learn and practice daily living skills constantly and benefit from real world, hands-on experiences. We practice skills such as cooking, food prep, recipe following and all reading and math correlated to that. Students participate in job opportunities within the community and take community field trips to learn even more. It can be difficult to get hands-on experiences so we have to be very creative in our teaching and work hard to provide opportunities to all of our students daily.
