We plan on using the 3D printer to teach the students how to make items using a 3D printer. This will also allow them to earn additional funds to participate in Community Based Instruction (CBI), more commonly referred to as field trips. From making school key chains, mascot (Lions) pencil toppers, to bow ties, and name plates, the students can sell the items in the student store (Pending approval). The students will choose what items to make, using a touch screen on an iPad. Then they will be able to see it print. They will display the items in the store on campus. Which will lead to having monies to fund additional field trips, CBIs.
