My students are most excited to create projects that involve paint, collage, printmaking and paper mâché, but we are limited in how we can create such work without a place to allow their pieces to dry properly and safely. A drying rack provides a spot for all the students to place their work with the guarantee that the creation will not be disturbed as it dries. Our options without a drying rack involve laying work in the hallways where they are blown on top of one another or inadvertently stepped on. It is heartbreaking to see a child be disappointed by such cruel fate imposed on something they valued dearly.

About my class
