This project expands our class library. Most of my students are Spanish speakers but our library does not reflect that nor spark their interest. One way to bridge the gap between our students and literacy is by increasing their love for reading, which is done by providing books that are interesting and current. With these books, I want to expand their reading and have wonderful discussions in our book club. The books here are culturally relevant and diverse so that our scholars learn about differences and how to celebrate them in our modern world.

About my class
