My students will benefit greatly by having a sketchbook! Sketchbooks are where my students can start to express themselves and find their sense of individualism, their identity. No good piece of art starts without an idea, a sketch, or a thought. Sketchbooks are how my students think and during this tenuous and unpredictable time, my students may be at home or anywhere. My students will need a way to self-express and interpret the world by having the ability to work in their own sketchbook. In just having a sketchbook I know they will be encouraged to use their creativity to grow and develop the confidence to take every opportunity available.
