My students are creative, innovative, and always full of questions. Their love of hands-on, active, and engaging projects inspires me to provide them with as many STEM opportunities as I can to build that passion. With this project, my students will have access to hands-on, creative STEM activities as well as technological games found on the research-based iPad extension "Osmo." My students come to school each and every day dedicated to take on and overcome a new set of exciting challenges. I teach 2nd grade in a rural community in Kansas. I understand, as a small-town girl myself, the importance of encouraging innovative thinking in places like Council Grove, KS. Emphasizing STEM in a fun and motivating way to students this age is vital for a successful future in our modern world.
