Inclusive posters and decor will help all of my students feel welcome and empowered in our classroom. I want out shared classroom space to reflect the diverse identities of my students and my belief in their ability to achieve anything! The grade-level reading set will help to establish and build a literacy-rich classroom for my students. Our year-long plan builds toward an independent reading unit and students are encouraged to pursue their reading passions throughout the year. With a variety of titles to choose from, students will be able to greater explore their identities as readers and as learners.
