The pandemic has made it difficult to provide students with opportunities to work collaboratively and team build. With flexible seating, students can move more easily around the classroom without cross-contaminating tables or moving heavy furniture around. This seating would be utilized for small groups, team projects, and peer mentoring. Imagine wobble chairs and the bouncy ball being utilized to redirect extra energy in a student who is over stimulated while having to focus in group work. Imagine a full small-group with just enough room for a student to "wheel-on-over" if they need additional support, or lap desks for students who need some space to work independently. Finally, multi-use clipboards can ensure that every student is provided with a flexible working space for break out groups.
