I am planning on using these books as read-alouds. By using these books as read-alouds with my class, it gives students an opportunity to expand their reading skills. I am primarily planning on using them in class, but if we need to go remote, the students would have a copy of the book at home to read along with me virtually. By putting a book in each child's hands, it will help them to become better readers. They will benefit from increased fluency, sight vocabulary, and comprehension. They will also have more in-depth conversations about the topic of the books and be able to refer back to the text to support and cite their thinking.

About my class
