Student sketchbooks will be used for the daily recording of new ideas, techniques, materials and research of artists and art styles. Mixed media sketchbooks will allow students to use a wide variety of materials such as pencils, marker, ink, charcoal, pastels, acrylic paint and even watercolor. I would love to be able to provide students with a sketchbook who are not able purchase one on their own. These sketchbooks will be perfect for home use as well since they will be able to handle most all art media. My students have fallen in love with the few sets of Prismacolor colored pencils we have in the classroom and would love to have more available for them to use with their sketchbooks.
