I am a second-year 8th grade ELA teacher. My students are friends and my class is family: I want my classroom to reflect that. My school may just have the most hard-working, intelligent, and loveable eighth graders in the world (I may be a bit biased, though). Relationship-building is my priority because belonging is the foundation for motivation and academic growth. With a mic to amplify student voices, LED lights to brighten their days, and a mirror to reflect the greatness that is and could be (literally), my students will be able to learn, grow, and love in the classroom environment that they deserve.
