We are excited to welcome our students back in the building. With their arrival comes that need to have some snacks and treats to help them make it through the day. With longer class periods this year and a late lunch, students will be faced with staying focused while hungry. This project is to provide some quick, safe, and healthy options for them to refuel. The snacks are ideal for a distracted student who is ready for lunch but has to wait another hour. My students come to school for food and safety. This project provide some food so that the students are able think better. My students also need paper copies of assignments in order to be successful. They have severe learning challenges and struggle with using a computer. They benefit from being able to write on the paper and having the assignment on paper. Many students still do not have internet at their homes so being able to copy materials makes it easier to make sure students have access to the information they need. In order to do this for my students I will need toner for my printer. By contributing to this project you are helping level the educational playing field for my students.
