Books are essential to capturing students' hearts. A love of reading can propel students into lifetime learners. With students learning remotely, many have not had the opportunity to read a physical book. Students at my school are living at or below the poverty line. These children don't have the luxury of owning personal books. Having access to high-interest books at school is critical to engaging learning. My classroom has sat empty for several years. With your help, I can fill the classroom with age-appropriate books that will excite them!
