They will be used in my special education classroom, and many items can follow students throughout the school day. Something that I want to instill in my students is the ability to self-regulate and ADVOCATE for their needs. When students can advocate for their needs from a young age, it can help them grow and find ways to thrive in school and beyond. The items on this list help to create a safe space to learn how to do that. Your generosity can make a huge, lifelong impact on individual students, their families, and the communities they live in.
