My students have always loved hearing about other kids their age around the nation creating amazing and helpful inventions. TIME for Kids is a tangible, fun, and engaging way for my students to be inspired by other kids and the world around them. Reading these inspiring stories has always motivated my students to get creative and inventive and contribute to the their community. They enjoy the print version because they can take them home and share their favorite articles with their families at home. I also have some fidgets to help my students maintain focus throughout the school day. Kids are meant to be active and often absorb information better when they have flexibility to move and wiggle using fidgets. I also have asked for a gift to teacherspayteachers to help me get some great activities for my students. This site has amazing ideas for growth minded and social emotional learning that my students love learning about.
