We are asking for 2 dehumidifiers for our school library to keep our books from collecting moisture and mildewing. Our current air conditioning system is unable to keep the moisture out of the room and affects both the books and equipment that are housed there. We are also working on creating an incentive reading program to encourage our students to read more frequently. The mini fridge would allow us to store cool refreshments as incentives for meeting reading goals. Over the summer, we reorganized the entire library and are hoping these last few items will help to make the library are more inviting and enjoyable place for our students.
