The fidgets, Chew Necklaces, vests and games, I am requesting are evidence based to allow students to calm and self regulate negative trauma based behaviors while enabling them to learn in a classroom setting. By partnering with Hope Street trauma based recovery classroom management system, we at JHE can make a difference, offer alternative ways to cope with traumatic events in life. A successful outcomes will occur when students can generalize the skills they have learned at JHES and apply them across all setting - home, school and community. This is vital for them to become productive citizens.

About my class
