My students need to learn the importance of organization in order to promote safety and up-keep of our tools and materials. Currently, storage spaces lack clear assignment areas for power and hand tools or bins/ shelving for separating hardware and building materials. With the implementation of a sound organization strategy, students will be able to identify and categorize materials used in class and extracurricular activities. Students will then be able to actively identify missing tools, communicate materials that are running low on inventory and help justify the acquisition of new items. --Allowing students to build ownership in their work environment reinforces "A clean workspace is a SAFE workspace."

About my class
