My students have been tasked with the challenge to return to school in the midst of a rising pandemic. It is my duty to make sure that each student is safe and feels welcome. My 6th graders need that nurturing as they transition into middle school. My students struggle to have all of the items that they need in school, however, this year, struggling to stay safe is not one of the items that I want to be on the list. Safety is something that we can afford, and with your help, I can keep a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for the students to wear their masks and still be able to breathe.
