These materials will be used in the classroom and at home. In the classroom, the kids will start the amazing mapping project under clear guidelines. They will use knowledge learned in class to complete the map of their school. After the correct placements have been made, the student will take materials home to finish the project and will be able to share to their families. This project is connected to the geography standards for grade 3. Students need to know how to read a map, it is a career and readiness skill for the future.
