My library serves students in a school of 788 students that are 79% free/reduced lunch. Our students are 60% Hispanic and 33% are ESE students. Our school also serves the local residential home for students who are eligible for adoption. Only 32% of our students scored a proficient level on the state test. Our students have limited science exposure and need more access to science equipment to help them develop the science skills needed for success in high school and future careers.
