COVID 19 has not discouraged my students, but it's had me thinking of different ways to continue to foster their growth during and after the pandemic. These alternative seating and learning items will serve the purpose of providing safer and creative options for my students to socially distance while remaining fully engaged in their learning activities. Our kindergartener's beloved Tablet Time and their other "students choice" activities would greatly benefit from this variety of learning options. It will provide them with alternatives for learning away from their desks should they choose and create more safe spaces in the classroom. Finding ways to make my students love coming to school while providing them with both a mentally engaging and safe classroom experience with magnets, markers and chips and toys, will always be my greatest passion as a teacher.
