Because of COVID, many schools pushed aside writing in order to focus on gaps in reading and math instruction. In the process, my students have not been given access to organized, methodical writing curriculum. With these materials, I will be able to provide a sacred space to empower my students and expose them to their gifts. My students desire quality instruction that uplifts the joy that writing creates. They deserve to find their voice through writing. Our organized writing binders will encourage my students to become advocates, critical thinkers, and authors.

About my class
