I teach 2nd graders in a K-6 school who are excited to come to school to learn as much as they can! We're fortunate to have a very diverse population. We have about 30 different languages in our community! Some of my students are new to the United States. My goal is to support students the best I can while they're in my classroom. I work hard to create a consistent, calm atmosphere that is still upbeat, fun and full of learning! My students know that they are safe at school and feel a part of a community when in our room. I also strive to use the best, research based teaching strategies to help set my students up to succeed in life and to compete in today's society.
