My students have much difficulty manipulating a desktop computer or Chromebook, even when provided with a mouse. These difficulties cause much frustration and impact their overall performance when completing assessments including STAR Reading and STAR Math, online learning programs like Lexia, and when navigating platforms used during hybrid learning such as Seesaw. These iPads will allow my students to access the supplemental online program provided with our math curriculum, Connecting Math Concepts. Additionally, my students will be able to log in to their Splash Learn or Lexia account to practice and review all learned math and phonological concepts. My students will also be able to demonstrate greater independence through the use of the iPads. Additionally, these iPads will allow me to consistently embed technology within my students' daily learning to increase their engagement for learning. By giving my students iPads to use in the classroom they will be able to access so many learning apps that will enable them to take virtual field trips, practice letter formation, record reading to improve fluency, and create content amongst others. My students and I are so appreciative of your generosity. Thank you for funding our project.
