These headphones will be utilized in the classroom for technology math and reading centers; whole class, and student-paced Nearpods; videos; virtual field trips; and reading aloud strategies. All of our tests are now computerized, and the headphones will allow my students, especially my English Language Learners and high-risk students, to hear clearly without distraction. It is impossible to concentrate in my classroom when everyone is using the read-aloud functions in our apps at different times. I notice the frustrated glances when students have to repeat the audio because they could not hear it the first time. Tests are stressful enough without the added chaos of everyone's computers talking at random times.
