Kindergartners are active learners, who learn best when they are calm and have the tools and supports they need. Often times, students are faced with anxieties and overwhelming situations that can impact their learning. Providing sensory tools will not only help support and increase my kindergarteners' participation and engagement, but it will also help them stay calm and self-regulated when they become anxious or overwhelmed throughout the day. Aside from this, these tools will help support various sensory students needs in my classroom and will help increase students focus and participation.

About my class
