I am a first year mathematics teacher! I will be teaching 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th and 11th grade…..yes, you read that correctly. While my anxiety is at an all time high, my supplies are at an all time low. Since I will be teaching just about every grade, your donations will have a direct impact on about 80% of the school population. What a deal! We will be utilizing whiteboards (7) throughout the room to change up the traditional classroom structure and to change the way the students think about math! We will be needing lots of markers and lots of erasers (because we all make mistakes). I have also included charging stations as a safe place for the students to keep their phones during class. If they can’t have phones out during class, at least the phones will get charged during that time. Take a little - give a little, right? Prayers needed, donations appreciated.
