My dream is to create a sensory inclusive environment that can be modified based on individual student needs. This project is designed to modify lights, seating arrangements, fidget toys, proprioception, vestibular, incorporate movement and tactile accommodations to assist a wide variety of students. As a speech language pathologist, I want to foster an environment where students feel comfortable learning to advocate for modifications, make mistakes, learn, grow, adapt, and communicate. This project will be used in the speech-language room and will allow for individual sensory adaptations based on student needs.
