This project will support the differentiated needs of my amazing students. Due to the pandemic of COVID-19, these students have missed lots of learning experiences that are vital for the development of their little minds. The primary reading supplies will allow students to practice and improve skills that are necessary to progress in reading and writing. The art supplies will encourage students to bring their written work to life as they make visuals for their stories. The science supplies will feed their need to explore the world around them and continue to ask questions about science. The social studies supplies will allow them to expand their world view as they investigate maps and learn about social heroes like Martin Luther King Jr. The books bags will be an essential part in their learning as they begin to extend their what they are learning at school into their very own homes. This will not only provide a space to practice vital skills, but also encourage families to engage in their students' academic development. This project will diminish little barriers in students' learning and build bridges for them to succeed.
