A carpeted rug area creates a learning environment that is casual and also family oriented. Student learning in this way can be fun and also students can feel confident to share with each other. We will have meetings on the rug to learn new objectives, attend center time, enjoy books read aloud, have discussions and to feel comfortable while also learning. This rug will create an inviting environment for my students to feel as though anyone can be successful and grow as a learner in our classroom. I would love to have this in my room so my students will have this area as an option for learning.

About my class
