Currently I have a chalkboard in my room. This magnetic/dry erase board will enable my students to manipulate math and reading concepts using magnetic shapes, letters, numbers, symbols and manipulatives. They will be able to make shapes, create equations, build numbers, build words and sentences. The possibilities are endless. With the dry erase feature, they will be able to write what they are learning about and label what they are creating. The great thing about this board is the ease and diversity of learning the students will get. They will be able to easily manipulate many different learning opportunities using hands on learning. This approach will give my students cross curricular learning they need to succeed.
