Having multiple guided reading sets to tailor to student book club interests will help instill a love of reading for each student in my reading intervention groups. These multiple copies can be sent home after students have received instruction in order for them to practice reading at home. Readers are empowered when they read a variety of texts and learn to be flexible in their reading strategies. Having multiple titles and levels for these early readers to learn and grow as readers will equip me with the tools to help them be successful.

About my class
