Most of my students have never open a book and with donations to building a classroom library, my students will become excited to read and want to read! All of my students being in a self-contained Behavior Intervention room with significant behavior challenges, find little to no joy in academic work. However, by having many books for all ages I am confident they will find something their interested in. Once they unlock the joy of reading, I just know they will find excitement in academics and learning how to read.

About my class
