My third grade students are the very definition of "bright-eyed and bushy-tailed". They are full of energy and life and love to talk - and learn! All 32 of them come from a variety of backgrounds, but economically the area our school services is middle to low income families. Our school opened its doors in 1977. We do not have a lot of extra resources for the 730 students, but we want to give them every advantage we can. Our PTA is very active and the parents are supportive of school programs and activities. Most parents work hard and don't have a lot of extra money or time, but give what they can. , so it is important to purchase those that will be of most benefit to the greatest number of children.
