How can we keep students with learning or developmental issues engaged and attentive in the classroom? You just might be sitting on the answer! Kids sit an average of 8.5 hours a day, including time at home. Sitting in traditional chairs can cause back issues and lead to inattentive behavior. Active seating alternatives have been tried in many classroom with great success. Teachers have found that by providing seating alternatives, such the Active Learning Stools I am requesting, many of these issues have been eliminated. That is why we would like to toss out our old chairs and replace them with Active Learning Stools. It is our hope that by allowing a little more "wiggle room," our students will become more engaged and attentive. Our ultimate goal is to provide the best atmosphere for all our students to learn.
