This flexible seating will be used in the classroom during small group and independent work times. The wobble stools will provide students in small group the option of some movement as they are thinking. The floor seating will offer students that think better away from a desk some comfort through alternative seating. While many students can do well in a desk and standard chair throughout the day, elementary students are still in a prime mental developmental phase. 5th graders especially are seeking out how to be the best student possible and to increase their concentration on increasingly difficult content. These seating options can be instrumental in some of these students discovering the power of movement in their learning process
