Having flexible seating in a classroom helps students become comfortable which allows them to focus and learn while having fun. Each student is unique in their own way, therefore having different learning strategies. Some students learn more sitting at a desk, others learn more from sitting in a bean bag or comfortable chair. Providing flexible seating in my classroom for my first year of teaching will allow the students and me to analyze what type of learning methods work and what will not work. Creating a comfortable environment in the classroom will help students feel safe and welcomed!
