My students have varying disabilities and are in my classroom the majority of the day. We do a lot of hands on learning to reach our goals. A lot of our learning is done through play for that reason, and the toys I have listed on my list are ones that we can use to achieve our goals and work towards meeting them. My students have almost had every book in our classroom read to them, these kids have a huge love for books! We read every day in my classroom, if I am not reading, one of my outstanding para educators is. When the students are listening to a story they are zoned in and typically do not want reading time to be over. Anything that gets donated to my classroom is sure to be put to good use and my students will benefit greatly!
