My classroom is in desperate needs of seating for centers and other areas in the classroom. This will allow us to work in groups much easier. They will have many options for a place to sit, instead of just sitting in the floor to work with their group. I would also like to create cozy reading areas around my classroom. I work in a school where the majority of students do not read on grade level. I want to create the reading areas to give my students motivation to read. Having a place to go to that is cozy and comfortable is often the trick to give my students that motivation. These different forms of seating will also provide a cozy home environment for the students. I love for my students to walk in the classroom and it feel inviting. I want my classroom to be a place that the kids enjoy coming to. I plan on using the bouncing ball chairs as flexible seating in the classroom for those students who may need to wiggle a little more. They can still be at their desk, but be able to bounce and move around, while still engaged in the learning environment. My hope is that all these seating options provide the students with a comfortable environment to work in and in turn make them more engaged in their learning
