Many of my students do not have the ability to supply their own school supplies for the different years. It causes them to be unable to access their education and be successful within the classroom. This year I would like to provide my students with their own personal supplies so they do not have to worry about their family finances. The main focus in my classroom this year will be building their confidence. By providing them with their own supplies, I hope to start off the year by making them comfortable in the classroom. The composition notebooks will be used as their daily journals where they will write about different things in regards to geography. For my ELL/ESL students, these notebooks will be their support system in exploring the English language and becoming confident in expressing themselves.
