My students having individual activity books and a way to check their work independently will boost their self-confidence in math. In first grade we strive for independence, this is a way for my students to achieve independence. Students working independently during math will allow me to work one-on-one with them while ensuring everyone is completing meaningful activities. By donating to our project you will help improve student confidence, their attention to detail, their focus ability, and increase their academic achievement. Students will have their own math materials during math, and given the capability of working independently. They will also be able to self-check and correct their work, taking ownership in what they do.
