I teach at a Title 1 school with about 80% free and reduced lunch. My two classes of fifth graders have about 60% ELL students. They are very deserving students who try hard in math and science. My students unfortunately are not exposed to much math and science in the real world. By purchasing these materials - students can see that math and science is truly everywhere around them already. It is in literature, in the kitchen through measuring, and even sports! I hope to provide with engaging activities and books to help them with their language and their academics all in one.
