These items will mostly be used for small group centers to enhance reading and math skills during whole group instruction. Smaller groups will allow me to move amongst the centers and will allow them to be more hands on with their learning. Sentence builders and other reading activities will enhance my students fluency while reading and help them become better readers. Math manipulatives will allow students to "touch" the math and help them understand place value and number sense better. These students have completed kindergarten during a pandemic with a lot of virtual instruction. These tools will help them build on their previous learning; but it will give them hands-on options!
